Job Description

Pennoni is always seeking Engineering Interns to join several of our offices throughout the east coast. We typically seek interns for at least a 3 month period, throughout the summer and Fall or Spring semesters. Our interns typically assist with the following:

  • Preparation of design plans of different types of engineering projects based on the designated division the intern is placed within.
  • Calculations, computer analysis, data input, quality take-off, preparing project specifications and construction cost estimates.
  • Data collection phases of impact studies and field views for various types of projects.
  • Working with various computer programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, and/or Revit.

Job Requirements

  • Required education: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, studying Civil, Structural, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.
  • Minimum years of work experience: 0-3.
  • Licenses: Preparing for or already having taken the FE exam.
  • Good communication, writing and speaking skills required.
