Job Description

Pennoni Associates is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Division Manager with experience consistent, but not limited to:
  • Managing projects, clients, and the overall business unit
  • Managing staffing and personnel
  • Conducting and managing geotechnical engineering services, including investigations, analysis, engineering evaluation, recommendations, reports, etc. on commercial, institutional, industrial, and public works infrastructure projects
  • Servicing external clients as well as internal clients with other divisions working on multi-discipline engineering projects
  • Overseeing construction inspection and materials testing and conducting Special Inspections that require PE (deep foundations, SOE) for NYC
  • Independently developing engineering proposals and reports as well as performing quality reviews of proposals and reports developed by other staff
  • Developing new business and maintaining existing clients
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Business planning and fostering strategic growth

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) with Geotechnical concentration preferred
  • 8-12 minimum years of experience
  • 0-3 minimum years of management experience
  • PE in New Jersey and New York (or the ability to obtain quickly)
  • Proficient in Geotechnical Engineering software, Microsoft Office, and Windows
