Job Description

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Project Bridge Engineer with experience consistent, but not limited to:

  • Seeking motivated bridge engineer who has experience with load rating and condition inspection of bridges. MDTA, MSHA, DCDOT and DelDOT experience is preferred but not required.

  • Candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to bridge load rating assignments and also served as bridge inspection Team Leader for DelDOT, MDTA, MSHA and DCDOT.

  • Efficient use of engineering software. Ability to learn and apply new skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; looks for and seizes opportunities to improve work products.

Job Requirements

  • Essential Software Tools:
  • Microstation, LEAP Bridge Suite, AASHTOWare Bridge Rating, Brass, STAAD, or SAP, LEAP, BAR7, Microsoft office.
  • Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum years of work experience: 4-12

 

  • Licenses required:

    PE; NHI / NBIS Bridge Inspection Certification required. NHI FCM course is preferred but not required.

  • Candidate has the ability to work on concurrent projects and work in the office and in the field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed
