Job Description

Pennoni is currently looking for a Staff Highway Engineer with experience consistent, but not limited to:

 

  • Microstation drafting and design of transportation infrastructure projects

  • Roadway and highway design; transportation grading plans; erosion and sediment control; hydrology and drainage calculations; water and sanitary sewer layout, MOT plans and geometry

  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles, such as calculations and profiling; storm water management and basic stormwater pipe design; proficient CADD experience with Microstation, Inroads, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D

  • Construction consultation and E&SC monitoring; Design build experience is a plus

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum years of work experience: 0-5.

Licenses Required: Engineer In Training. 

Computer skills required: Microstation, Autocad, Inroads, and Civil 3D is preferred.

Efficient use of engineering software. Ability to learn and apply new skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; looks for and seizes opportunities to improve work products. Has a sense of pride and ownership in work product; proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D. Beginning to join professional organizations and establishing relations.
