Job Description:

Pennoni Associates is currently looking for a Technical Consultant with a design and construction background that possesses a strong technical knowledge within the survey industry. The candidate will provide technical support, consulting, and implementation services to the survey service line within Pennoni. In-depth industry and software knowledge is required.

Essential Skills/Functions:

  • Identify and propose options for improvement or resolution of issues and relate those solutions directly to the business goals
  • Provide technical support to design staff
  • Ability to demonstrate, map and integrate disparate AEC technologies to solve design workflow inefficiencies
  • Provide technical presentations and recommend solutions
  • Perform in-depth assessments to investigate, uncover and understand design challenges
  • Grow and maintain respected, long-term, trusted advisor relationships with staff

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Must have demonstrated and current direct experience with the process, workflow and use of software directly related to surveying.
  • Experience using hardware and software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Recap, Carlson, Trimble, Leica, Faro, etc.
  • Understands the workflow between various members of the engineering design team
  • Industry accreditations preferred but not required
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related industry preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Superior presentation skills and listening skills
  • Proficiency in information gathering and technical discovery techniques
  • Strong teamwork / relationship management skills
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle may be required to do light travel requirements of this role.
